Let me introduce myself. I am Sam Maggio founder and CEO
of Maggio Enterprises, creator of Grand Slam Fast Start Sales Course and Phone
Techniques, and many other sales programs. I would like to take a few minutes
to give some background information about myself.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, La. I am a second generation car salesman. My father Sam Maggio Sr. was one of the top Ford salesmen in the country in the sixty's.
I jumped right into the family business at the age of sixteen, to help my dad, after he suffered a heart attack. My father took me under his wing and turned me into a well oiled selling machine. He put me in his office on the phone contacting his previously sold customers; soon they were beating a path to the dealership to upgrade their trades. The phone was the first sales tool in my hand, and I truly believe it is the greatest tool any sales associate could have!
Over the next four decades I worked with some of the premiere dealerships in New Orleans and the surrounding areas in sales and management. As a seasoned sales veteran, I was approached daily by new sales people, desperate for help. The need I saw for quality training of sales professionals and my many years of experience, led me to create a dynamic sales staff oriented training program that has given proven results to dealerships all over the region.
